You Get What You Pay For
Do not consider me if all you want is the cheapest photographer, but certainly do if you’re looking for the best or at least a better photographer than average.
(Equipment, creative skills, technical image creation skills, satisfied customers, quality of resulting images, and ability to connect and understand what you want)
Objective
I will start with the end in mind. I try to get a clear sense for the purpose of the photo and how it will be used. For example just a profile photo on social media or a legacy portrait. For use on corporate report or in a small frame for the desk of a loved one, or large print to display where they can be remembered and thought of.
Prep
I spend 30 minutes with the subject before they arrive, with instructions on how to prepare and get a sense for what they are after..
- Photography Session (Shoot)
Most importantly I really strive for that connection to bring out what the person wants to say about themselves or help them communicate their identity and looking their absolute very best. - Also – It MUST be fun. As soon as the shoot is not fun – we stop and go home. 😊
Post Editing
This is where most of the work takes place. While the shoot requires technical expertise and creativity, the bulk of the time is spent here. I spend 30 to 50 minutes touching up each photo individually.
